We want this site to work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier.

What standard are we working to?

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That covers colour contrast, keyboard access, text alternatives for images, and a page structure that assistive technology can navigate.

We treat it as an ongoing obligation rather than a one time check, and we retest when we add or change pages.

What have we done so far?

Every page starts with a skip link so keyboard users can jump past the navigation straight to the content. Headings run in a logical order with a single H1 per page. Every image carries descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers rather than announced.

Body text and interactive elements meet or exceed the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio required at Level AA, and we measured the text sitting over photographs rather than assuming. Focus is visible on every link, button and form field. Buttons and tap targets are at least 44 pixels. The site respects a reduced motion preference set in your operating system.

What might still cause trouble?

The embedded Google map on the contact page comes from Google and we do not control its markup. If it gives you difficulty, the full address is written out as text directly above it.

The image gallery opens in a lightbox provided by a third party component. It is keyboard operable and closes with the Escape key, but if you would rather avoid it, each image also loads on its own page.

How do you tell us about a problem?

Call (407) 593-1888 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and tell us which page gave you trouble and what happened. We would rather hear about it than not.

If something on this site prevents you from getting the information you need, we will give you that information another way, including over the phone or in person at 1621 13th Street in St. Cloud.
